On July 6, 2025, unexpectedly at Christchurch Hospital. Dearly loved and devoted wife of the late Walter, much loved and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Sandra and Graham Stewart, Kath and Jeff Simmers, and Mark and Sarah Godsall. Adored Gran of Genevieve and Cash, Annie and Ollie, Maddy and Sam, Alex and Brooke; Tom and Hannah, Ben and Emma, and Angus and Kate, and loved Great-Gran of Edward. A funeral service for Hilary will be held at St Barnabas Anglican Church, 8 Tui Street, Fendalton, on Saturday, July 12, at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation.
