Helen WALKER Obituary

Peacefully at Lister Home, Waimate on January 9, 2024; in her 95th year. Dearly loved and devoted wife of the late Alf (formerly of "Foxburn" Hakataramea Valley). Dearly loved daughter of the late Gladys and Sothan Garland formerly of Clarkesfield Station.
Dearly loved and respected sister and sister in law of of Ted and Margaret Garland (both dec) (Clarkesfield), Ron and Nancy Garland (both dec) (Maungati), Alan (dec) and Emmy Garland (Waitaki/Haka Valley, Waimate), Betty, and Viv Patrick (dec) (Waimate), Nancy and Robert Hay (formerly Haka Valley, now Oamaru), Colin (dec), and the extended Walker family. Dearly loved and respected aunty of all her nieces and nephews of both the extended Garland and Walker families. The Service celebrating Helen's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel Waimate, 11 John Street, Waimate, on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 1.30pm followed by interment at The Waimate Public Cemetery.
