Helen LANGLEY Obituary

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Christchurch Hospital. Deeply loved wife and best friend of Brian for the last 70 years. Cherished mum of Jane and Patrick, and Anna, a wonderful nan of Sophie, and Flynn; Jack, and Eva, and a very special friend to us all. A very special thank you to the staff at Ngaio Marsh Retirement Village, and the staff of the Medical Assessment Ward, and Ward 17 at Christchurch Hospital for the love and care they have shown to Helen. Messages may be addressed to "The Langley Family" c/- PO Box 26051, North Avon, Christchurch 8148. A service to farewell Helen will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, Richmond, Christchurch, on Wednesday, January 7, at 1.00pm.

So sorry to hear of your loss Brian. Goes back a long time (1970) to the days when we first met on our mutual transfers to Invercargill. We've many fond memories of Helen. Rosanne and my sincere condolences at this tough time to you and your family.
