Of Seatoun, on November 23, 2024, at home with family in her favourite chair, aged 95 years. Dearly loved wife of the late David. Loving mother of Sally Ann, Rachel, Linda and David. Mother-in-law of Grant, Terry and Hiromi. Grandmother of Ben, Matthew, Hayley, Rebecca, Emily, Meg, Kaori, Yuki and Max. Great-grandmother of Maisy, Madelyn, Bonnie and Jayce. First Parliamentary Commissioner of the Environment, botanist, painter, author and Quaker. Daughter of the late Sir Theodore Rigg and wife Esther Mary White. Sister of the late Esther-Mary Penhale. Helen's funeral will be held at the Friends Meeting House, Moncrieff St, at 2.00pm on December 4.
