Helen HIRST Obituary

On November 24, 2025, Helen died at Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by family, aged 97 years. Cherished wife of the late Jack, much-loved sister of Joan Murray, loved mother and mother-in-law of John and Diana, Nick and Gabriel, and Liz. Adored Nana of Toby and Laura, Lucy and Wade, and last but not least, Great-Nana Helen of Zephyr, and Goldie. We all hold dear in our hearts, a lifetime of happy memories, her kind spirit and unconditional love for her family. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Helen Hirst, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In accordance with Helen's wishes, a private cremation has been held. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held in the new year. Details will follow in The Press.
