Helen HEANEY Obituary
(nee Fogarty):
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Helen, who died unexpectedly on May 27, 2022, aged 74 years. A much loved wife and best friend of the late Kelvin, a treasured mother and friend of Donna and Tony, Karen and Roger, Bridget and Paul, and Justin and Nada, proud nana of Nik and Kellie, Jacinta, Ben, Tom, and Sam and Tayla, and adored great-grandmother of Bella, Brax, Layton and Rylan. She was also a much loved sister, sister in-law, aunt, niece, cousin and friend to so many The world lost a beautiful treasure when Helen left us. She was an amazing soul who cared very deeply for her family and friends. Throughout her life she was adventurous and strong and enjoyed hosting many students, travelling and experiencing different cultures from around the world. She spent her life helping people, always had a smile and was everyone's friend. Her sudden exit from our lives is heartbreaking and she will be extremely missed.
Rest in love Helen, reunited with your beloved Kelvin.

I was fortunate to work with Helen at the Linwood Ave Community Corner Trust, and to join her on personal occasions subsequently. What an endearing whirlwind Helen was. Always on the go with her heart on her sleeve. Helen made sure outcomes for her clients were of a positive nature and she would exhaust every avenue to gain satisfaction.
Warm, funny, intelligent, brave, adventurous and very caring. Helen is much missed, a bright light dimmed.
