Forever remembered - Sister Helene was a wonderful woman and mentor who cared deeply about justice and community. She was a leader and a tireless worker. She had a very kind and loving heart. Her counsel was imbued with wisdom. She saw people who did not see themselves. She believed in people. Her smile and laughter were infectious but it was her singing that took you to the heavens and to Ireland.

Helen was my neighbour along with Pauline, Theresa, and Marie, in Palmers Road. A very good friend and neighbour. My sympathies go to her extended family members. May she rest in peace.

Betty was a much loved member of the Archer and Rumble families. We will always remember her love of life and interest in everything the wider family was involved in. The visits to the cemetery where we learnt more of the family history were a gift. God speed, Betty. Arohanui Gail and Mike Rumble, Lower Hutt

Betty came to visit us in Lurgan, Co Armagh, Ireland a number of times over the years where her mother originally came from. We kept in touch and visited her and all the sisters in Aotearoa New Zealand. What craic they were! She was a campaigner for social justice and for human dignity. She was with us in Ireland when our peace process was taking its first tentative steps towards what would become the Good Friday Agreement and peace with justice in our time. I have so many fond memories. I will never forget you, Betty. Go ndeana Dia Trócaire ar do anam dílis.
