Helen Alison (Punch)
(nee Kane):
Born August 7, 1928 (Wellington), died July 24, 2022, at Leslie Groves Hospital. Ex Macandrew Bay, Diamond Harbour and Christchurch. Loved wife of the late Jock, and much loved mum and mother-in-law of Jack and the late Deanne (Dunedin), Greg and Glenys (Christchurch), and Roderick and Glynis (Auckland), loved grandmother of James; Simon and Sacha; and Tim, Sam, and Andrew, and great-grandmother of Thomas, Felix, and Isabella; Libby; and Carson. Thanks to all who have nurtured mum through her lengthy journey with Alzheimers. Genova, Irene, Trevor, Kay, Jan, Tanya, Jude and with special thanks to Lindsay, and to the caring, cheerful and loving staff at Leslie Groves, and previously at Bradford Manor. Mum's journey to the Maker was made less stressful by the nurture that she received. No flowers please; donations to Alzheimer's NZ Charitable Trust would be much preferred. A private family ceremony will be performed in due course. Any messages to 9 Wharfdale Street, Macandrew Bay, Dunedin 9014.
