Helen COOTE Obituary
On Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Chatswood Retirement Village. Passed away peacefully and surrounded by the love of her family. Dearly loved wife of Lindsay, beloved mother of Helaina and Jonathan, mother- in-law of Matt and Melanie, and Nanny of Olive and Ingrid. Thank you to her friends, who have been such a huge support to Helen and the family. Special thanks to the team at Chatswood Retirement Home and Nurse Maude Palliative Care, as well as Felix Reuppell, who cared for and supported Helen so beautifully in her last months. In lieu of flowers, please donate directly to The Motor Neurone Disease Association of New Zealand: https://mnd-new-zealand.raisely.com/ A service celebrating Helen's zest for and open-hearted approach to life will be held at St Andrew's Anglican Church, 148 Main Road, Redcliffs, on Thursday, July 15, 2021, 1.30pm.

Helen looked after myself and my sister Jo many times after school while we were at Redcliffs Primary in the 80's. Always cheerful and full of life Helen was a wonderful and kind lady who will be sorely missed. Best wishes to Lindsay, Helena and Jonathan at this tough time. Kindest regards, Mike Bunce.
