Janet Lincoln Obituary

Formerly of Okemos/East Lansing, Janet Orpha (Knopf) Lincoln, aged 90, passed away peacefully at home in Grand Rapids, MI on August 29, 2025. Janet, the daughter of Roy and Mable (Knapp) Knopf, graduated from Monroe High School and then Michigan State University where she met and married the love of her life, Jim Lincoln (Greenville High School 1951). After staying home to raise their 3 children, she taught early elementary education for 22 years in Holt Public Schools until her retirement in 1997. Visitation is set for both Friday, Sept 5th, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm and Saturday, Sep 6th, from 11:00 - 11:45 am. Jan's Celebration of Life service begins at 12:00 noon following Saturday morning visitation. Luncheon provided.
