Helen Butryn Obituary

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother peacefully at the Bob Kemp Hospice (Hamilton) on May 4, 2022 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Cecil John Butryn (2004) of Vineland, Ontario. Loving mother of the late Kathy (2014) (Jim) Konkle and Terry (Terry-Ann) Butryn. Grandmother to Michael, Krystal, Shawna, Nicollette. Great-grandmother to Zoey, Evelyn, Ava. Dear sister to James Sawka (Stella) and late Walter (Mary) Sawka and Aunt to Lori (Jim) Oblak, Rick Sawka and Carol (Neil) Matthews and Marianne (Cesare) Marchese and late Robert Sawka. The family will receive friends at the Tallman Funeral Home at 3277 King Street, Vineland Ontario on Tuesday, May 10 from 4-7 p.m. The funeral service will take place Wednesday, May 11 at 11 a.m at St. Helen's Church, 4106 Mountain Street, Beamsville, followed by burial at Mount Osborne Cemetery, Beamsville. A reception will follow. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at the Bob Kemp Hospice for the wonderful care given to their mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
