Heather WILD Obituary

Late of Weedons. On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Lady Wigram Hospital, Christchurch. In her 87th year. Loved and cherished wife of Derek for nearly 66 years. Dearly loved mother of Jennifer and Peter Gliddon, Wendy Wild and the late Harry, Keith and Vanessa, Bruce and Erin, and Jacqui and Andrew Adams. Beloved Nana of her 18 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.
Now rest in peace.
Messages for the Wild Family may be sent c/- PO Box 26051, North Avon, Christchurch 8148. A service to celebrate Heather's life will be held at the Weedons Community Pavilion, 685 Maddisons Road, Weedons, Rolleston at 11.00am on Wednesday, March 5, to be followed by a private interment.

Heather (Sutherland) was a loved neighbour of our family at Ashton, down from Ashburton. Her parents and Grandparents always very generous with supplying us with vegetables and knitting beautiful clothes for us girls.
When Heather & Derek were married I had the honour of being their Junior bridesmaid. What a great day that was for a young girl! We have wonderful memories of days gone bye. A life well lived Heather, now rest in love.
