Heather ROWLANDS Obituary

A wonderful lady ,and a very loving mother of Gareth ,please except my deepest sympathy , in your very sad loss

Heather was a very special member of the Nursing Class of 1969, New Plymouth Hospital. She will be sadly missed by us all as we remember her zest for life, sense of humour, and compassion for those she cared for.
My condolences to Gareth who has lost both parents in a comparatively short time.

Judy Brown (O´Connor)

I remember Heather when she was a Charge Nurse (Sister) at Christchurch hospital and I was then a student nurse. They were scary days for students, but she was always kind and funny which made our lives so much better. Our paths crossed several years later and what a privilege and joy that was. A wonderful nurse, a great sense of humor and all round special person. I am saddened by this news as we have lost a truly great person. My love and thoughts are with family and friends.

Heather , your love of life, despite many challenges along the way, will always be an inspiration to me, your family, and your many friends.
