Passed away peacefully on December 10, 2024, at Burlington Retirement Village, Christchurch; aged 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Alistair Maxwell for 50 years. Mother of Rodney, Kelvin, Christine and Jennifer. Mother-in-law of Judy Ann, Dan and Thomas. Grandmother of Andrew and Anna Maxwell, Isaac and Matthew Cadogan, Eliane, Katherine and Lukas Schmid. Great-grandmother of Maisie and Niall. Renowned artist, author and teacher. A devoted matriarch of her family and advocate for the intellectually disabled. Leaves an indelible legacy.
