Harry KING Obituary
Harry Hong (Hee Hong):
On March 4, 2023, passed away peacefully at Christchurch Hospital. Loved and cherished husband of San Choy, loved and respected father and father-in-law of Bruce and Glenys, Graham and Emmie, Robin and Alison, Stephen and Deborah, and Angelina. Adored Yah Yah of Hannah and Marcus; Charlotte and Daniel, Ashton, Victoria and Matthew; Nadine, and Elisha.
Will be sadly missed.
The family would like to express their gratitude and thanks for the excellent medical care that was shown by Mr Saxon Connor and his team, Interventional Radiology, Ward B3, A5, 23 and Sara, Dr Jennifer Butler, Dr Kate Grundy. Dr Kris Yee at Normans Road Surgery, and to all of the District Nursing teams and carers for their exemplary care of Harry. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Harry King, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John's would be appreciated and may be made online at stjohn.org.nz. A Funeral Service will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Friday, March 17, at 10.00am, interment will follow at Yaldhurst Cemetery.

So sorry to hear of Harry´s passing. The King family were neighbours of ours on Harrison street when the family were growing up and I have great memories of the boys all playing together. He was a lovely man and always smiling He will be greatly missed by his family . Thinking of you all.

Sad to hear that Harry has passed......a great life shared with family. A Gentleman and hard working businessman. I have known and worked with Harry since 1973 when first I arrived at Brophy Knight in Ashburton....many great memories and laughs together.
He will be sadly missed. My condolences to San Choy and the rest of your family who I know he was very proud of.
