On November 23, 2016, Harold passed away peacefully at home. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Lyn, much loved father and father-in-law of Jeff and Mary-anne, Dianne and Greg Bain, Chrissy and Linda, Wendy and Roy Stechmann. Loving Granddad of Tim, Sam, Caylee, Bree, Nate, Shayden, Kaiyah, Ashlea and wee Bump to be.

Thankyou for being my Uncle Harold. I know you were a very loved man. Not just by me,but your brothers and sisters too. Your sense of humour, your laugh and that smile,will always be in my heart and memories forever. Love you Uncle Harold.
