Harete POOLEY Obituary
Harete Taipu (Charlotte):
Born April 5, 1952. Passed away suddenly at Christchurch Hospital on November 24, 2016, after a long battle bravely fought (aged 64). Dearly loved wife of Bruce, much loved mother of Frances and Daniel and the late Jamie Pooley. Adored and devoted mama of Tuhaka, Hamiora, Tamihana, Te Amorangi Kaahu and Jamie.
Our wife, mother and mama carried so much strength and love for
our family. She will be sorely missed and forever in our hearts.
There will be a service held at 474 Mairehau Road, Burwood, On Monday November 28 at 10.00am, followed by a Church service Te Rangimarie Church, 360 Gloucester Street at 1.00pm, concluded by burial at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Thank you to all of you who have supported our family during this difficult time. Mum had a wonderful send off and would of been so proud and touched by all the love and support we have received. Dear Mum,
I am sorry I didn’t get to you in time before you passed away. I tried, Mum. I begged God to let you wait for me and yelled out that I was coming. But you took your last breath about ten minutes beforeI got there. I thought you were only sleeping, but the nurses said you have just passed away. I yelled and screamed and held you in my arms untilDad and Daniel arrived. Losing you, Mum, has hurt us so much. It has been sad watching Dad find his way without you. We all feel so lost. You rest beside Jamie now, Mum. I hope you had the best welcome party when you arrived in Heaven. We will love you forever, Mum, and can’t wait to see you again. Love always, — Frances. xx
