Hans Deiter (Peter):
With heavy hearts, we advise our loved father and Opa passed away on January 20, 2023, peacefully surrounded by his family. Such a treasure to have all family members at his bedside in his final hours. Eternal thanks to Christchurch Hospital for their care and compassion for dad during this time. Beloved husband of the late Lorraine, and son of the late Maria. Loved father and father-in-law to Teena and Noel, Mike and Greta, Darrell and Fleur. Loved Opa to Stacey, Ash and Dion, Brooke, Tayla and Jayden and India. Loved Great-Opa to Zachary who brought a smile to his face in his last days and weeks.
Finally reunited with Lorraine, now at peace.
You may be gone from my sight but you are never gone from my heart.
