Thinking of the wider Petrie family. Hamish impressed us with his optimism and wit; and his woodworking and gardening skills. We have a few pieces that Hamish created for us that we will treasure. Much love to you all. RIP Hamish. From Jo Cool & family x

Dear Culhane and Bronwyn, I was so sorry to see that Hamish has died. May he rest in peace. I always used to enjoy reading Hamish's letters to The Press. I remember teaching Bronwyn at Harewood School ages ago! Good years! May your good memories and those of others comfort you at this time of loss.
