I am so grateful to have known you Hamish. You inspired me as a professional to look at my work through a strengths-based and solution focussed lens - encouraging me to find positives and ways forward through tough times. When I was studying, you freely gave up your time to chat through tricky topics and every time we spoke, I came away buzzing from something you shed light upon. As a friend, I am going to miss our laughs, chats and plots to change the world. I wont have the chance do continue this here... but I know I will see you on the flipside. We can laugh, joke and - no doubt - scheme about how to make heaven more inclusive! I will miss you buddy xxx

Mish Mash it is hard to comprehend that you are gone. I treasured our time back in the FPA days, the laughs and ridiculous banter. And when you met Nicky it was like a match made in heaven, two tall, beautiful, kind souls together. I feel blessed to have had you as a friend. Arohanui Mishy

Hamish touched the lives of so many of our students having a lasting positive impact. He made such a meaningful difference to them, always with respect, positivity and humour that I admired him greatly for. As the shock fades the tears and sadness flows.
