Lafayette Walter Obituary

I would like to extend my condolences to the Walters family. I always considered Lafayette as a good friend. I cherish the memories we had when we spent the summer together at Morehead working on our masters degree. Lafe was a class act at all times. He always treated me with respect, and I enjoyed coaching against him. I hope to see him again with our Holy Father.

I grew up at the Walter house hold from 1st grade and am still a fixture there. Lafe and his family took me in as one of there own. I have so many great memories of Lafe and feel so blessed that he has been a part of my life. I will miss the summer evenings when we would sit by the pool and talk about my kids politics and sports
