Gregory Douglas (Greg):
Peacefully at Christchurch Hospital on Friday, March 24, 2023. Very much loved husband of Maxine, and loving father of Ben and Antonia, Frances and Daniel, and Elliot and Edel. Adored GG of Rupert, and Ollie; George; and Cora. Much loved brother of Brent, and a loved brother-in-law and uncle. Messages to: c/- The Jones family, PO Box 6035, Ashburton 7742. A memorial service to celebrate Greg's life will be held at the Ashburton Racecourse, 35 Racecourse Road, Ashburton on Thursday, March 30, 2023 commencing at 2.00pm.

Mr Jones (I used to call him Greggors for a joke), was my favourite teacher at college. We have a reunion coming up and we were going to invite him. Very sad news seeing this. I was so looking forward to seeing him after all these years. He was always a kind, caring and fun teacher, with a good sense of humour.
My most sincerest condolences to his whanau.
