Gregory BEAUMONT Obituary

14.1.1985 - 11.1.2024

Dearly loved son of Karen and David. Loved brother of Aaron and Josh. Adored father of Brody, Brax and Bella. Unca G to Manaaki, Taamia, Mihi, Connor and Jax who will miss him immensley. Greg/Grubba to uncles, aunties and friends.

When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom filled room
Why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little, but not for long
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the love that once we shared
Miss me, but let me go.

For this is a journey we all must take
And each must go alone.
A step on the road to home.

When you are lonely and sick at heart
Go to the friends we know.
Laugh at all the things we used to do
Miss me, but let me go.

A huge shock to read this tonight. Please know we are thinking of you all at this very sad time. The Beaumont family were all involved in The Cardinal´s Junior Softball Club when I was the Junior Club Captain. We had a very strong Junior club in those days when the Beaumont boys were young we were like a big family. Greg being the eldest was always a great mentor for Aaron and Josh and they were great days in the Junior Club. It´s amazing to reflect when young boys playing sport and now they are all grown up absolutely fantastic days which seems like yesterday to us. You will be missed Greg We apologise we can not be there tomorrow for Greg´s farewell but our love to you all and please accept this as a personal acknowledgment from The Cardinals Softball Junior Club and Sue and Steve Hurley and family.
