Gregory William BARNARD

Gregory BARNARD Obituary

On Saturday, December 27, 2025, at home (aged 69), a truly wonderful man slipped away peacefully, surrounded by his family, after fighting a courageous battle. His love, kindness and sense of humour will be missed by everyone who knew him. Much loved husband of Sharon, father and father-in-law of Josh and Sophie, Mitch and partner Morgan, and his wee mate Jack. Our sincere thanks to family and friends, Christchurch Hospital, Nurse Maude, Lincoln Medical and Selwyn Pharmacy, for their care of Greg over the past years. In accordance with Greg's wishes, a private cremation has taken place, and a farewell will be held at a later date.

Yesterday

Dear Sharon, Josh, Sophie, Mitch & Morgan, we are so sad to hear of Gregs passing, he was one of those people who truly lit up your day, he was funny, kind, thoughtful, caring, practical, could find a solution to most things. Certainly, helped us on the side of the road with Molly a couple of times. He will be sadly missed and leaves a big hole in your lives. Sending much love and hugs, lots of love "Woodsies" xxxx
