Grant Duff MacKay:
Grant passed peacefully away after a short stay at Margaret Wilson Rest Home on Friday, February 10, 2017. Dearly loved husband and companion of the late Gwen. Much loved father and father-in-law of Heather and Branko Sijnja (Dunedin), Shona (deceased) and Brian Bromley (Auckland), and Murray and Patricia Henderson (Scotland). Treasured and respected Grandpa of Arend, Geraldine, Philip and Amanda, Fiona and Jamie, and Faye. A service to celebrate Grant's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Rd, Timaru, on Saturday, February 18, at 1.00pm followed by interment at the Pleasant Point Cemetery. No flowers by request. Messages to 5 Seddon St, Timaru 7910.

Both David and I have a wonderful memory of Grant who played the pipes at our wedding for the Grand March, it was both a stirring and sterling moment and one that will never be forgotten.
