ADAMSON, Grant Ronald - 56 years young and tragically taken from us on Monday, August 19, 2013. Cherished and devoted husband, best friend and soul mate of Karen for 35 years. Loving and compassionatefather, mentor, and hero of Michael (and Stacy), Lee (and Nick) and Jenna (and Sam). Adoring and gentle grandfather of Isla, Xavier and Lucy. Dearly loved son of the late Douglas and Tui, and loyal brother of Wayne and Steve. Dearly loved and respected son-in-law of Reg and Beri Henwood and loved brother-in-law of Wayne and Lara Henwood and uncle of James and Nathan Henwood. A special thank you to the staff of ICU and Ward 28 at Christchurch Public Hospital, in particular Sean – we are beyond appreciative. A Service to celebrate Grant's life will be held at Lamb & Hayward Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, Christchurch, on Monday, August 26, at 2.00 p.m. In lieu of kind gestures, donations to the Neurological Foundation of New Zealand will be appreciated.
