POWER, Graham: (MBE)
Of Tauranga/Thames, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, May 15, 2023, at the age of 96. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Connie of 68 years, and children Michael, Anne and husband John. Loved grandad to Sarah, Emma, Jessica and wife Mai. Numerous extended family members and friends will dearly miss him. Graham was not only a true gentleman but a shining example of what it meant to serve his family and community and will be sorely missed. A Requiem Mass will be held at St Thomas Moore Church, 17 Gloucester Road, Mount Maunganui, on Monday, May 22, 2023 at 11.00am, followed by a burial at Te Puke Cemetery, 78 Dudley Vercoe Drive, Te Puke. Communications to The Graham Power Family, c/- Legacy Funerals, PO Box 3136, Tauranga 3142.

Dear Connie
What a celebration of a long and rich life you must have had.
We remember with fondness and gratitude the contribution Graham and you made to environmental protection on the Thames Coast and particularly all the exceptional work Graham did as treasurer for the Thames Coast Protection Society. A legacy of Graham´s stewardship is the funds still available to groups protecting this area from gold mining.
