Graeme MILNER Obituary
Peacefully on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Essie Summers Hospital, aged 94 years. Very much loved husband of Kitty, and a loved Uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Micky will be sadly missed by all, including the cycling community, and his many friends. Messages to the Milner family C/- PO Box 111-01, Christchurch 8443. A private cremation has been held.

Very belated condolences, Kitty, on the loss of Graeme. Somehow I missed this news. I'd just met Graeme when I moved into the street and been struck by his friendly welcome. A mere day or two later, the September 2010 quake struck, and very soon Graeme was tapping on my bedroom window to see if I was all right! I subsequently learned about his successful cycling career and often saw him riding at great speed down the road like a man a quarter of his age! I have good memories of his friendly, neighbourly spirit and resourcefulness! My very belated sympathies, Kitty!
