LUSCOMBE, Gordon William (Bill) - It is with great sadness we inform you of Bill's passing on Sunday, August 18, 2013, in Wanganui. Our loved uncle, now with his Mum, Dad, brothers and sister. Bill was a loved son of the late Ned and Christina Luscombe. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Christina (Nina) and Doyle Sloan (U.S.A.) (both deceased), Ian (Ted) and Noleen Luscombe (Christchurch) (both deceased), the late George, and Marion Luscombe (Rangiora), James (Jimmy) Luscombe (Amberley) (deceased). Loved uncle, great-uncle, great-great-uncle to Eddie (deceased), Lonnie (deceased) and Janet and families (U.S.A.). Ian (Nova Scotia), Garth (Orari), Coral (Christchurch), Pheona (Christchurch) (deceased), Ruth (Wakefield). Annette (Brisbane), the late Glen (Amberley), Vicki (Glentunnel) and all their families. Bill was a workmate and friend to many in the Taihape – Waiouru area where he lived and worked for more than 50 years. Please join us to farewell Bill in St David's Presbyterian Church, Huia Street, Taihape, on Monday, August 26, at 1.00 p.m., followed by interment in the Taihape RSA Cemetery. Messages to the Luscombe Family, C/- 7 Ajax Street, Dallington, Christchurch 8061. In lieu of flowers, donations to the RSA.
