Glenyss LAW Obituary

Passed peacefully at Leslie Groves Rest Home, Taieri Unit, Dunedin, on Saturday, 24 February, 2024 aged 77 years. Formally of Oamaru and Christchurch. Dearly loved partner for 28 years of Kenny Thickett. Loved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunty and friend to many. As per Glenyss's wishes, a private cremation has been held. Messages can be sent to Glenyss's family, c/o Exit Funerals,
PO Box 2252, South Dunedin, Dunedin 9012.

We were very sad to hear of Glenys´s passing recently. We remember Andy & William playing in the same cricket team as well as being friends at school. We enjoyed Glenyss & Ken´s company at the Sumner bowling club & at their BBQ´s. She will be sadly missed. Love Julia&Bill Pringle

Very sorry to read about Glenys passing. I met her at the Dunedin Toll Exchange 30 years ago right up until it closed in 1986? During our time at tolls we a netball team which we played every Saturday even fund raised to go to NZ POST office sports tournament. They were some fun years even going to the post office balls.

We are so sad to read that Glenyss has passed away. Glenyss was such a beautiful lady who i worked with for a number of years in Christchurch. Russ and i had so much fun with her and Kenny at the bach in the sounds. I am sorry that we lost touch, you were never forgotten.
