On July 19, 2024, surrounded by family at Christchurch Hospital, aged 89 years. Treasured and deeply loved mother of Dianne, Julie, Karin, and Sandy, and mother-in-law of Steve and Pete. Loved nanna of Michelle and Reuben, James and Candice, Lauren and Paul, Jessica, and Sam and Sophie, and adored gran of Lucas, Fletcher, and Ziggy. Loved sister of the late Elaine, and Russell, and loved by all her extended family. Messages to the Harkess family, c/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. The funeral service for Glenys will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets on Wednesday, July 24th, commencing at 10.00am. Private thereafter.
