Giuseppe FON Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Nelson Hospital on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, aged 90 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Maureen and loving father, father-in-law, and Nonno of Viviana, Hugh, David, and Lydia; Erina, Brian, and Nina; Tania, Tahirih, Sorayya, and future great-grandchild; Cristina, and Lucia; Ari, Angela, Analese, and Marco; and fifth daughter Jenny. Cherished son of the late Amalia and Armando. Beloved brother and brother-in-law of Margherita and Marino; Rina and Vittorio; Maria-Térèse and Jean-Pierre (all deceased); Anna and Mario; and a dearly loved Zio. Loved son-in-law, brother-in-law, and uncle of the Dempseys. A Requiem Mass will be held to celebrate Joe's life at St Peter Chanel Church, High Street, Motueka, on Tuesday, October 31, at 11.00am. Messages c/- Golden Bay Motueka Funeral Services, 8 Inglis Street, Motueka. Special thanks to Di and Access carers, the Day Programme at Jack Inglis AC home, Ian and Paulette; Sue, Gary, and William. Deep gratitude for the care given to Dad by ED, Medical Ward, and AT&R team. Arrivederci.
