Gillian (Jill) (nee Presland):
On October 8, 2022, suddenly at hospital, aged 74 years. Treasured wife of William (Bill) Radford; cherished sister of Belinda Moss, Jennifer Mehrtens, Katherine Wilson and Peter Haggitt; loved mother, mother-in-law and grandmother to Annabel Saunders, Matthew Radford, Bridget Radford, Guy Radford and their families. The family would like to thank the excellent staff at St. John Emergency services and the caring team at Christchurch Hospital ICU. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. John would be appreciated. A private celebration of Jill's life will be held at St Stephen's Anglican Church in Lincoln. Messages may be addressed to the family of the late Jill Radford c/- Hope Funerals Christchurch, 27 Amyes Road, Hornby, Christchurch 8042.

Hi Bill, so sad for your loss. You wont know me by name. For the past ten months Jill and I have been connecting on word with friends and have had heaps of fun chatting back and forth. She seemed so Vibrant and fun. I was shocked when a day went by without a word or comment. Now, knowing the reason am devastated. Good luck to you and Family moving on and although we never met and never even saw a picture of her she added so much fun every day and I´m sure I´m not the only one.

Hi Bill, So , So, Dad to read in today´s press that Jill has suddenly passed away, my heartfelt thoughts are out there for you and your family, at this time, I have great memories of our times going back to Silver Peaks days, Clarke´s hotel and Jill being left to drive us all home, Provincial hotel, Bill Mercer,and all the great times we enjoyed together with your family and friends,Dick and Fred, your wedding, so many memories, stay safe and if you´re in Christchurch at any time and feel like a catch up/ drink, my contact is 0212387019, 83 St James Ave, Papanui, my best heartfelt thoughts are with you and your family at this time, looking forward to maybe catching up with you sometime soon.
