MOLLOY, Gerry:
A very special, courageous, and generous person – died peacefully on Sunday, November 13, 2022, surrounded by family and friends. Beloved and loving wife of Michael McHugh. Loving mother to Josh Molloy, Matt Cleland, Lauren McHugh and James McHugh. Big Fierce Sister Rabbit of Sally, Timothy (dec), Patrick, Stephen, Matthew, Joanna and Rachel. Loving and generous aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Many thanks to the staff of the Mary Potter Hospice and Sheila Hart, who have assisted Gerry. The family invite all her friends to Gerry's farewell party, which will be held in Miramar, Wellington, on Saturday, November 19, starting at 5.30pm. My deepest sympathy to you all as you honour a life well spent. Gerry was an incredible advocate, and while at Forest & Bird, she provided us with amazing advice and support as our PSA contact. I remember her as a friendly but sometimes formidable protector of Meyt's time when I was the Party Co-Convenor for the Greens. Much love and greatest respect.
