On September 3, 2021, in his 93rd year, peacefully at Windsorcare, Christchurch. Dearly loved and loving husband of the late Marian. Much loved and respected father and father-in-law of Murray and Susan (Wellington), Neville and the late Yvonne, and Ian and Noris (Lower Hutt). Loved, admired and proud grandfather of James; Paul, Rebekah and Philip, and Michael and Sarah; and Adam and Lloyd, and adored great-grandfather of Luke, Hamish, Annabel and Lucy; and Olivia and George. Following the relaxation of previous Covid restrictions, a memorial service to celebrate George's life will be held at All Souls Anglican Church, Church Lane, Merivale, Christchurch, on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 2.30pm. As numbers are restricted to 100 under current Covid rules, if you wish to attend this service please email [email protected] Vaccine passes are required and must be shown upon arrival at the church. Parking is also limited, especially on Papanui Road where clearway restrictions apply.
