George WHYTE Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Te Nikau Grey Hospital on November 14, 2023, aged 82. Deeply loved husband of the late Elaine, dearly loved father and father-in-law of Robin and Shelly, Jamile and Rochelle, and Sonia and Michael Back, loved granddad of Danielle, and Rhys, cherished great-granddad of Alanna, loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Douglas and Iris, loved brother-in-law of Judy and Graham Greengrass, and Ardell and Malcolm Baird, special friend of June and Tony Griggs, and Moira and Aaron Todd, a much loved uncle, cousin and a friend of many. A Funeral Service to celebrate George's life will be held in the William Sampson Memorial Chapel, Tainui Street, Greymouth, on Saturday at 1.00pm. George will then be laid to rest with Elaine at the Memorial Park Cemetery, Gladstone.
