Peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on February 2, 2018. Dearly loved husband and friend of Heather. Treasured and cherished dad of Julia and Graeme Macleod and Laina and Chris Goodmanson. Beloved Grandad of Caleb, Jasper, Kobi and Armi and friend to Nina. A much loved son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many. Flowers respectfully declined but donations towards a park bench at McIntoshes fishing hole would be appreciated and may be made at the service. A farewell service for George will be held at Te Rangimarie Centre, 360 Gloucester Street, on February 5 at 1.00pm thereafter Interment at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
