Dear Dawn and Neil, Leonie and Donald, Alistair and Liz, Evelyn, Sandra and families,
Thinking of you in the loss of your brother and brother in law, Uncle and great Uncle,
Such a lively personality as dear George had in better days of health just couldn't help but leave a big gap now.
Sorry for your loss,

Dear Esther,Delwyn, Shane and families,
Thinking of you so much in your loss.
We feel a pain in our own hearts that a kindly family friend has left us now.
We so wish we could support you by attending the funeral but it isn't going to work out to get there.
We value having received the link for the livestream.
Many good memories at Highbank , Christchurch, Taupo and a few holidays elsewhere together.
Will never forget how you both came and stayed with us Esther when our mum Ruth passed away.
Many other kindnesses over the years, and yes as Sandra has ably put it we loved George's laugh!
I remember he could ask some challenging questions related to the scriptures or things he had been pondering..showing' he was a thinker' He was very happy to accept a nice KJ Version chain-reference bible that was surplus when our family home was being emptied.
Thanks for a share of your special parents Delwyn
and Shane and we are comforted that you will continue to stand by mum,
Love from Derek and Adele Bird, Dunedin and Bronwyn Wilson, Taupo

It is with much sadness to hear of my dear Brother-in-law George passing on. George was the son-in-law of the late Maidos and Ernie Giltrap, Lower Hutt.A favourite Uncle of my 2 sons (Michael and Luke) and their families. George had a unique smile, great sense of humour and that laugh of his will always remain with us. You are now free from pain, rest easy and say hi to the family. Forever remembered with heartfelt fondness. Wonderful childhood memories of school holidays both at Highbank and Kapuka. Farewell.Love to Esther and family from Sandra S.
