George MURRAY Obituary

On Monday, September 16, 2024, George passed away at Anthony Wilding Village Hospital, Aidanfield. Loved husband to Naida, father and father-in-law to Bryan, David and Julie, Phillipa and Mark, and Nicola and Ross. Grandfather (Pop) to Keith Murray, Dominic, and Sebastian Murray, Thomas, and Nicholas Scott. At George's request, no funeral was held but a gathering is planned for the new year. Hi Naida,
So sorry to read the death notice of Chas, after all these years knowing you both it's a blow to loose him.
Think I met you both at Woodend Beach camping when you were first together as school friends and with your friend ,my sister Pam.
I was a cheeky little 3rd former back then, you tried to hide from me in the sand hills, sometimes with Pam and John Gregor (I think).
Then as a builder 's rep .Bev and I were invited to the opening of a new Library at Mairehau High School where Chas. was teaching. Bev was 8 months pregnant then, and had trouble getting up on to the stage , no hand rail.
Pam thought the world of you both and appreciated your company.
Try to remember the good times you had together,
