George McKAY Obituary

Passed away peacefully, at home at "Dornoch" on February 7, 2025, surrounded by his family, aged 82 years. He was a gold nugget for his wife Denise, precious and adored father and friend of Karlena and Chris, Hayley and Geordie, Angus and Athena, loved George and friend of his grandkids, Jack, Mae (deceased), Quinn, Isla and Maisy; Jonty; Georgia and Ravyn, and great-granddad to Cooper and Levi; and Pandora. Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Margaret, Heather and Basil (both deceased), and Robert.

Special thanks to Dr Clare, and all the staff at Darfield Nurse Maude. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late George McKay, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. The funeral service for George will be held in our Oaklands Chapel, Corner of Halswell Junction and Wigram Roads, Halswell, on Wednesday, February 12, at 2.00pm, followed by a private burial.

Dear Denise and Family. We are so sad to hear of George's passing. He is a Gold Nugget, we are so sad we missed his Funeral. He was very Spe ial Man, Kind, Generous in his knowledge of farming, but a dear Neighbour. George will be sadly missed.
