Dawn and Family - my belated condolences
I had the privilege of knowing George and was attracted by his affable and enquiring nature. He was interested, empathetic and willingly shared his experience and insight.
Grounded in their shared life experience, opportunities, challenges, and setbacks George and Dawn as a team offered pragmatic and sensitive advice in a personable, believable and considered way that spoke of their success's and travails.
That learning was offered with compassion and respect and I am sure endeared them to all they met. George was tempered by Canterbury and all its seasons and instinctively shaped by its touch on his being, this attribute was best expressed in his devotion to Dawn, their family and his garden at their Sheffield home.
