George LANYON Obituary

On August 24, 2025, aged 86 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Rosemary, and friend and former husband of Margaret. Much loved father and father-in-law of Karen, Mark and Emma, Riki and Julia, and Jason and Rebecca, and Grandad of George and Ellie, Sophie, Finlay, Jackson, and Alannah. Loved step-father to Chris and Caroline, Anita, and Graeme and Vernice, and step-grandfather to Laura-Ann, Michael, and Lainey. Loved brother-in-law of Dennis and Leanne Redmond. Sincere thanks to staff of Ward A5 at Christchurch Hospital and the Burlington Care Centre. Messages for the Lanyon Family may be sent c/- PO Box 26051, North Avon, Christchurch 8148. A service to celebrate George's life will be held at The Kaiapoi Club, 113 Raven Quay, Kaiapoi, on Friday, August 29 at 1.00pm.
