On Sunday, September 3, 2023 at Christchurch Hospital, after a short but hard fought battle with cancer, Blake reluctantly left us. Dearly loved wife of Margaret, devoted and cherished father and father-in-law of Amy, James and Kawhata, and much loved Papa of Elijah and Aria. A service to celebrate Blake's life will be held at the Wai-mana Chapel, Rangiora, on Friday, September 8 at 2.00pm, followed by a "Wake for Blake" at the Amberley Rugby Club rooms.
