George HOOD Obituary

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 26, 2025, aged 95 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Suzanne and Tim, and "Gabba" of Georgia. Loved husband of the late Val, loved son of Henry and Madge (both deceased), loved brother and brother-in-law of Pearle and Pat (both deceased), Allan (deceased) and Margaret, Lenore and Lance, Flo and the late Ian, Jill and the late Robin, Di and Jan (deceased), loved uncle of his nieces and nephews, and good friend of Barbara. A celebration of George's life will be held at Oaklands, corner of Halswell Junction and Wigram Roads, Halswell, on Friday, July 4, at 10.30am, followed by burial at Ellesmere Cemetery.
