George HALL Obituary

(Formerly of Leicester, UK) On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Christchurch Hospital, after a short, but courageous battle, aged 82 years. Loved Dad, and father-in-law of Andrew and Vera, Jo and Ben, adored Grandad and Grandpa George of Cizanella, Abigail, Ruby, William, and Maximilian, respected friend and former husband of Sandra, loved brother and brother-in-law of Valerie and the late Keith, Yvonne (deceased) and Les, Pamela and Clinton, the late Janice, and their families, loved friend to many. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late George Hall, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. The funeral service for George will be held at Oaklands, corner Halswell Junction and Wigram Roads, Halswell, on Thursday, December 4, at 10.30am.

George, I got the terrible news yesterday that you passed away. It was only the other week we were having our traditional chin wags. It was a great pleasure being your support worker from my nervous first day and you made my day all that much better right till the end. I'm going to miss your stories and your much appreciated feed back on how amazing I make your bed to perfection. It was only the other week you showed me your new jacket and you were so excited to wear it out and about, I hope you got that chance! You adored your grandchildren, as you spoke about them often.

My condolences to your close family & friends. Rest in love George and it was such a pleasure to have meet you. Xx
