George ENGEBRETSON Obituary

Peacefully left us on October 27, 2024, at Radius Hawthorne Rest Home, surrounded by family. Forever loved husband of Mary, loved Dad of Dane, Shelley and Dan, Heather and Garth, and Liz and Henry, loved Gee Gee of Jayden, Hunter, Aroha, Manaia, and Maia. Loved son of the late Bill and Thelma, loved brother of Murray (deceased) and Raewyn, Ted and Glenys, Bruce and Goa, Jayne and Tony (deceased), and families. Loved brother-in-law of Graham (deceased) and Susan and family, and great friend of Wazza, Chook, Shrek, and Kabo, loved master of Mac, Jackie, Banjo, and Bodhi, and Charlie. Special thanks to all the staff and residence at Radius Hawthorne for the wonderful care and support of George. Esteemed member of the Canterbury Golf Inc, past Club Captain of the Tai-Tapu Golf Club and old lovable rogue of Templeton Golf Club. In accordance with George's wishes a private cremation will be held. A memorial service to celebrate and remember George's life will be held at a later date.
