SOPER, Geoffrey Milton:
Passed away peacefully early April in his own home in Christchurch, aged 82 years. Eldest son of Manny and Elsie Soper of Athol and brother of Val, Brent, Blake and Louise. Mathematician (BSc Hons, Otago; MSc, Sydney), acupuncturist (DipAc, Hong Kong; CertAc, Guangzhou), soil scientist (Dip AgSc, Lincoln), author, free thinker, enviromentalist, poet longstandinging member of OpenMic Community, Geoff had suffered increasing ill health in recent months. Dear Family,
Our thoughts have been with you all for the passing of Geoff, please accept our Sympathy, we always enjoyed his company when he called our home . Harry used to take him to Dunedin to enable him to study at the Library there. An extraordinary man , well before his time with his ideals. We always appreciated his thoughts on the environment. May the memories of Geoff be a help to your now and for the days ahead. Rest in Peace Geoff.
