Geoff has been a close friend for over 45 years. He and Helen made a great couple and i know her demise anguished him. He was an inspiration to all, exemplary in everything and you always felt better from his company. Geoff may no longer be with us but he is with Helen until we see him again. I knew Geoff for many years. We were both on the committee of the Wellington Property Investors Association. He epitomised the word "gentleman". He was always very willingly to share his knowledge, which was legendary, in the property investment field. He was quiet and unassuming. He and Helen were a great inspiration to young investors. They showed what could be achieved though hard work, diligence and determination. They were also great travelers and before many a trip I would ask Geoff if he had been there, and sure enough, he had great advice. I once stayed with Nuns in London on the advice of Geoff. I think of Geoff often and reflect on my good fortune to have known Geoff and Helen.

I came to know Geoff through my late husband John Perera when they both belonged to the Wellington Property Investors Association.
I remember Geoff as a kind man, never had a negative word to say about anything or anyone. A real gentle man & gentleman. RIP Geoff.
