I was a good friend and team mate of Gaye's through Nelson Intermediate and NCG, now living in Airlie Beach, Whitsundays. Heard the absolutely tragic passing of Gaye and wish to pass on my sincere and heartfelt condolences to you and family and to Val, Leigh and Ann and families. Gaye was always such a vibrant and dynamic lady as we went through NCG together. She made contact with me only this year and I was truly hoping one day Gaye and family could have come and stayed with us here. My thoughts are with you all.

We were absolutely devastated to learn of Gaye's passing. I feel so blessed to have met up with her again early this year, when we were randomly selected to play in the same golf tournament foursome - 46 years after we were at college together in ChCh, learning how to drill teeth!!! She hadn't changed at all, and she, and that gorgeous infectious laugh, will be missed more than words can say. Graeme and I were deeply sorry to hear of Gaye's passing. She was a lively person, along with you Malcolm, who was a great neighbour to us and all on Old Mill road Oamaru. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time.

It's incredibly sad to hear of Gayes sudden passing. Gaye was such a vibrant fun loving person that lit up the room, loved her golf and especially her family with great passion, of whom she was, so so proud of. So incredibly sad to hear of Gaye's passing. Unbelievable. I am grateful to have known Gaye, even though for such a short time.
