Passed away peacefully at Hastings Hospital on October 19, 2025. Dearly loved husband of June. Cherished father of Richard, Rachel and Neil, and treasured Grandad of Joshua, Lily and Holly. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Allan and Ngaira, and Brian and Shona.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Gavin's life in the Beth Shan Chapel, 157 Georges Drive, Napier, on Saturday, November 1 at 10.30am. Messages to the Smellie Family, C/- PO Box 439, Napier 4140.
